Cold weather sometimes causes us to recognize personal voids -- one often being unrequited love.Following the success of his EP, FATHER, Los Angeles based songwriter turned R&B singer August 08 recently released a visual for his single "Spiral" featuring Grammy-nominated artist and producer WYNNE.

The 26-year-old 88rising affiliate brings comforting, brittle vocals of admittance layered over gloomy guitar riffs. Wynne, on the other hand, robustly echoes his crippling demise. Aside from the brutally honest lyrics of "Spiral", the harmonies make the message more intoxicating.The SAINT-directed video capitalizes on temperamental lighting and color to display melancholy woes. "Spiral" allows us to reflect on the power of emotional dependency in relationships. But one thing is true: in order to find ourselves again, we must spiral out of control and let those feelings live.
