Kicking Off Summer Right: Corona Electric Beach @ Skybar

I've been meaning to go to Corona's  Electric Beach since turning 21 in March. Unfortunately with every invitation, a conflict ensued between school and travel constraints. My opportunity finally appeared last Sunday in Los Angeles after completing  junior year finals at CSUF. CEB seemed like the proper reward to start my summer on a good note.Electric Beach is one of the prime nationwide EDM promoters with a respectable reputation. Corona Extra has sponsored the DJ driven event series by providing ice cold beer in decorated locations. 21+ parties are thrown throughout the US; notably in Miami, Dallas and Las Vegas. Attendees can enjoy an ice cold beer, live electronic sets and free merchandise while cooling off by the pool deck. Past notable DJ appearances  include Diplo, Skrillex, Chromeo and Avicii. The vibrant six hour party took place in West Hollywood at Skybar -- a rooftop bar with panoramic views overlooking sunny Los Angeles. It was the perfect venue choice on a breezy, sunny afternoon.Upon arrival to Mondarin, Skybar poses as an outdoor living room located at the back of the lobby. Expensive captivating paintings decorate the walls, leading to two large glass doors exposing a packed beach party and blasting remixes. A velvet rope, well-dressed bouncer  patiently awaited guests: boldly admitting and turning away attendees from a thrilling experience.Beyond the rope, guests jumped quickly, losing themselves in a trance. Others packed the bar or relaxed poolside. NYU senior/ producer Prince Fox diligently spun future pop playlists. Fans rocked their heads, as others captured close videos and photos. LA DJ trio Cheat Codes took the stage around 5, transforming the sky deck into an Anthem and Tropical House paradise. They debuted their singles, "Sex" (featuring Kris Kross Amsterdam) and "Adventure".Go to CEB when you get the chance. The series plans on spending most of the summer in Las Vegas at the Encore Beach Club, so plan accordingly.  Bring some friends, enjoy live music and make some memories.I found my Electric Beach. Have you found yours?
