Freddie Joachim's "Charcoal" EP Showcases Versatility

He is a member and label director of San Francisco based creative collective Mellow Orange. Their goal is to attain full artist growth via their platform. Joachim is an "avid listener and collector of Hip-hop, Jazz and Soul". His interest in music began during high school. Outside of Disk Jockeying, he has produced for Blu, Joey Bada$$ and has garnished attention from the likes of Erykah Badu, Slum Village among others.Charcoal was released within the last two weeks via Soundcloud. The five track instrumental has no features. It does not have a storyline to it either. "No Matter What" incorporates some clinging high hats with bass. "Here I Go" brings in some vocals with a more organic Hip-Hop beat. In"Childhood Memories", Joachim establishes a reminiscent yet jazzy instrumental. "Reboot" generates a futuristic accents as chimes ring throughout.
