Tooty Gets Help In "Stepping Stone"

A recent Chi-town college grad at the time, he released First Degree Murder on February 10th, 2014. Coincidently, his debut mixtape came a decade after Kanye's College Dropout. To follow up, a sophomore EP entitled Suicidal Thoughts is slated for November 24th, 2015. Creatively, his musical intentions and aspirations include to create thoughtful emotionally-provoking music; ultimately aspiring listens to embark on their dreams. Tupac, Jay-Z, Kanye West, and J.Cole are major influences as a result of their powerful impact and contributions; both within the music industry and on the culture as a whole.

The "Stepping Stone" is a visual shot in black and white, directed by Alexander King. Tooty is in the midst of therapy session, forced to reconcile and reflect on his childhood and emotions. Glimpses of Chicago bring attention to the violence and poverty that plague the third most populous city in the United States.He identifies himself as "The Voice of the Ghetto, I'm who been missing", within these lyrics. Tooty's music lyrically and visually resonates, through rivetingly striking wordplay and proper use of commentary snippets to convey himself as an artist who is consciously hyperaware, seeking to leave his mark on the genre.
